  • Counseling – TBA
  • Sick and Hospitalized – Call your Pastor, The Rev. Jesse Hawkins. I always see parishioners who are hospitalized.
  • Death – Call your pastor.
  • Meeting Space RequestsPlease contact the office, or download a copy of the Meeting Room Request Form.
  • Weddings – Call your Pastor.
  • Sick and Shut-In; Need CommunionPlease contact the office.

Thank you for your cooperation, and if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to give me a call. All of these protocol procedures will soon be published in our Membership and Policy Handbook.

Fulfillment Hour is in session at 8:45 in the Multi-purpose Room.
Tuesday Midday and Evening Bible Study is in session.
Wednesday Evening Praise Ensemble Rehearsal at 7 p.m.

***NEW DATE****Dance in the name of love, life and health. The Health Ministry would like to begin offering a Saturday Line Dance Class here at St. John. A trial Session will be held on October 20, 2018 at 11 a.m. If you are interested in attending the class and for more information, contact Jackie Carson at 

October is recognized Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The Women’s Ministry invites everyone to wear PINK on October 28, 2018 to support, celebrate survivors, and to join in the fight to wipe out this dreaded disease. We are asking both men and women to show their support by sporting their Breast Cancer Awareness Tee shirts on October 28th, the last Sunday of the month. Children’s Church Ministry Cancelled - the trip to the UniverSoul Circus! They asked that you please save the date of Sunday,  October 28, 2018, immediately following Worship  to 3 p.m., for their Fall Fun Family Festival here at the Cathedral of Grace | St. John. This event is for everyone, Come for the Fun, stay for the Food and enjoy the Festivities. More details will follow.

Registration for Project Alpha 2018 is underway - Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated, its Chicagoland Association of College and Alumni Chapters, and the March of Dimes, announces their Project Alpha Conference for 2018.
